The 2,06 BIG HALIBUT ONBOARD M/V "BigFisher"

 

 

On sunday the 21.th of October 2012 I hooked the fish of my dreams - a 2 meter and 6 cm big Halibut !!
Penn Overeas pro 50 lbs rod, , Penn Formula Graph-Lite GLD 20 II reel and owner circle-hook worked perfect !

Dreams can come true !!!

With good assistance from my good friends
-Henrik Bolten - the flying gaff operator
-Guenter Storr - the heavy lifter
-Frank Brodrecht - the superintendant

- all together we managed to lift the 100 + big Halibut into the M/V " BigFisher" .
