| This Winter the area around Tromsø has been the best place in the world to watch the great Humpback whales hunting for herring . We have been out several times with M/S " BigFisher " watching them very closely - this has been the adventure of my life. |

| The following Pictures is a taste of how it looks when 6 humpbacks are hunting for herring. They cooperate to hunt the herrings on shallow water, and make cooperated attacks from beneath with their enormous mouths open- It's a great hunt when you can watch this at short distance. You can hear the talking beetween the whales, and they smell like a Fish factory when they open their mouths. |
